Textbooks in the MSJC Libraries
- The Libraries have many textbooks, but it is not possible to carry all textbooks due to funding. When available, at least one copy is kept for use in the library. Extra copies are available for some textbooks and can be checked out for three weeks.
- A limited number of textbooks are also available online in a digital version. Please visit our Online Textbooks page. These are titles the library has digitized as part of an ongoing project. Titles are limited to those with the most demand.
- In addition to the textbook titles that have been digitized, some required texts are available in the Ebscohost collection of e-books. Many of the "required" texts available in Ebsco are novels or non-fiction titles that professor have assigned. Major textbook publishers (Cengage for example) do not usually allow electronic versions of their titles to be purchased by libraries.
