Managing Your Gale Search Results

There are helpful tools available in Gale eBooks to manage your search results. You can click on any title link to view the content and use the tools on the right side of the results screen to filter results. You can download content, export to different platforms, or email citations from the article-level page.

Important! Before you leave Gale eBooks, make sure you download or make any notes, highlights, or citations. The session data is lost once the browser is closed, so you won't be able to save your work!

How to Save an Article from a Gale eBook

  • Choose from the options in the menu just above the article text or in the top menu bar.
  • Click to the full eBook page using the book's title link.
  • Explore related results and topics.
  • Highlight and add notes to selected text in the article.

  1. Select text.
  2. The Highlight and Notes tool will appear where you can choose a highlight color or add notes.
  3. Optionally, you can also grab the content's citation or highlight specific words and find their definition.

To access your Highlights and Notes during your current session, click the Highlight and Notes link in the top menu bar. From there you can download or print the citation and highlighted text, or send it to your Google Drive, OneDrive, or email,
