Online Library Orientation: Module 3: Searching for Information

Searching for Information

This module introduces you to the nuts and bolts of devising effective search strategies. It covers the basics of searching for information, including choosing an appropriate database, identifying keywords, and employing a variety of search techniques.

MSJC databases may be accessed 24/7:

On campus, use the SJC or MVC Library computers, any networked college computer, or connect to the MSJC student wireless network.

Off-campus? From the Library website, choose a database and log in using your mymsjc username and password.
