About JSTOR

JSTOR logo is a database collection of academic journals in various disciplines. Magazines and newspapers are not included. Unlike many databases, JSTOR does not provide access only to the most recent publications. Its primary function is to preserve access to journals for future researchers through its archival collections. Journal issues are typically added to JSTOR 3 to 5 years after publication.

There are multiple collections within JSTOR and the MSJC Libraries do not subscribe to all collections. Consequently, a journal that is said to be in JSTOR may not be available in our version of JSTOR. At present, MSJC only subscribes to archival articles; current journals and e-books are not included.
